From June 2017 Sexual Health services across Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) have been redesigned. Brook was successful in joining Unity Sexual Health service to provide Young Peoples services in the area, although this will mean there are some changes to current provision.
All young people’s clinics remain fully accessible for any patient aged 19 years or younger, on a drop-in basis but there will be a change for those of you over 19. As Brook has joined UNITY there will be other services available for you to access alongside a new interactive website and the option to request on-line testing.
If you are already an existing (registered) Brook client aged between 20-25 we will be able to see you at the moment for your consultation with a nurse or a doctor. However, during the next six months we would like you to find a local GP who you feel comfortable to attend for your continuing care.

Watch films about Brook Young People’s Clinic
Bristol college students have made 3 short films about Brook, confidentiality and the help and support available. You can see them on the Brook YouTube channel.
Like all 4YP clinics, doctors surgeries, pharmacies and C Card outlets Brook is confidential. This means they won’t share anything you tell them with anyone else, even if you are under 16, unless they are very worried about your safety or someone else’s. In this situation they would always discuss this with you first.
