Aimed at:
This course is designed for those who are involved with or planning to develop their sex and relationships with groups of girls and young women or individuals. Participants may benefit from attending Level 1 Sex & Relationships and Level 1 Substance Misuse, but this is not a pre-course requirement.
Aims:
To develop a practical approach to working with girls and young women in the area of sexual health. To build participants’ confidence and skills to work specifically with girls and young women with reference to their sexual health.
Learning Outcomes:
• Understand specific issues for young women and sex
• Understand the importance of working with the holistic model of self-esteem
• Understand the importance of aspirations, ambitions and goal setting
• Develop skills on how to support young women to keep safe
• Develop practical skills, strategies and exercises for this work

You can use the same form to apply for more than one course at a time but please ensure you include the title AND date of all the courses you wish to attend. These courses are free but if you cannot attend, you must let us know by 9a.m. on the day before the course or you will be charged £50 for full-day courses and £25 for half-day courses.
