Aimed at:
Anyone who works with parents, carers and families across Bristol

Aims:
To enable workers to support parents and carers in talking to their children and young people about substance use.

Learning Outcomes:
• Look at patterns of drug use among young people
• Identify the most vulnerable families/young people
• Discuss your role in supporting parents
• Explore some of the difficulties parents and carers might face when talking to young people about drugs and look at possible ways of overcoming these
• Find out where parents can get drug and alcohol information to support conversations with young people
• Find out about local services to support young people who use drugs and parents
