Aimed at:
Participants must have attended Level 1 Sustance Misuse before attending this course. Anyone who works with children and young people affected by a parent/carers’ substance misuse across Bristol.
Aims:
To enable workers to gain an understanding of how children and young people can be affected by their parents’ and carers’ drug and alcohol use and to outline the support available to families.
Learning Outcomes:
• Look at the impact of parental drug use on children and young people’s development
• Identify how workers can contribute to supporting children affected in this way
• Outline other agencies who can also support the family

These courses are free but if you cannot attend, you must let us know by 9a.m. on the day before the course or you will be charged £50 for full-day courses and £25 for half-day courses.
