Facts and Values in Sexual Health
Aimed at:
Practitioners working with young people who have attended Level 1 Sex and Relationships and wish to extend their learning to carry out more focussed and proactive sexual health work in their setting. Participants must have attended the Level 1 course, or have experience of sexual health work. They are expected to have a good understanding of the law relating to sex and young people, including those under 13, to be confident to refer young people to sexual health services and have considered the reason young people have sex and how their work encourages good sexual health in young people.
Learning Outcomes:
• Introduction to the holistic model of sexual health and the C-card Scheme
• Explore values and the values framework within which sex and relationships work should be carried out
• Introduction to contraception and sexually transmitted infections
• Communicate effectively with young people around relationships and sex

You can use the same form to apply for more than one course at a time but please ensure you include the title AND date of all the courses you wish to attend. These courses are free but if you cannot attend, you must let us know by 9a.m. on the day before the course or you will be charged £50 for full-day courses and £25 for half-day courses.
