Brook Bristol is moving to a brand new clinic at the station.
From Monday 5 November Brook Bristol will be moving to a brand new clinic as part of an all inclusive young people’s youth centre, The Station, on Silver Street in Broadmead, Bristol.
The Station is a new, state of the art youth centre which is part of the MyPlace initiative and is based at the Old Fire Station site in Bristol’s city centre. The Station will provide comprehensive support services for young people, a café and the opportunity to take part in physical activities including skateboarding and a dance/fitness studio.
While the move takes place the current Brook clinic in Unity Street will be closed from 7 pm on Friday 26 October 2012, with the new clinic opening at 12 noon on Monday 5 November 2012. During this time there will be staff available on the phone and in person at the old clinic on Unity Street to offer advice on other services that are available while Brook is closed.
The Ask Brook helpline is also available for advice via 0808 802 1234 (11am – 3pm Monday to Friday) or a text message to 07717 989 023 (9am – 3pm Monday to Friday). The telephone helpline is free and a standard SMS rate applies for the text message service.

“The Station is a fantastic new venue for young people in Bristol and we are really pleased to be able to support Brooks move there. It will mean that young people will have easy access to relationships and sexual health advice and support. Brook and the young people who use Brook services deserve a state of the art venue and the station certainly provides that.”
From 5 November 2012 Brook Bristol’s address will be: 3rd Floor The Station, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2PY. The main clinic number of 0117 929 0090 will stay the same.
